Privacy Policy

Graft Wild LLC ("Graftwild", "we", "us") runs graftwild.com, the Graftwild Instagram account (@stryder.g), and the Graftwild email list. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
1. What we collect
When you join the email list. You might sign up through an Instagram DM (for example by commenting a keyword like YOLK and replying with your email) or through a form on graftwild.com. We collect:
- your email address and, if you share it, your first name
- which free download or page you signed up for (we use tags like "yolk guide" so we know what you asked for)
- whether you open our emails and click links in them (standard email statistics)
When you message us on Instagram. If you use one of our keyword automations, our messaging tool receives your Instagram username, display name, profile photo, and the messages you send in that conversation.
When you buy something. Checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details; we never see or store your full card number. We receive your name, email, the billing details Stripe asks for (such as country or ZIP code), what you bought and the amount. If you used the "Find your path" tool on our site, the path you picked (for example "backyard") is passed to Stripe with your order so we know which edition of the guide fits you.
When you visit graftwild.com. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies and does not identify you: it records things like the page you viewed, the site that sent you, your country and region, and your browser and device type, and it only gives us combined totals. Our host (Vercel) also keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, to run and protect the site.
On your own device. If you use the "Find your path" tool, your choice is saved in your browser's session storage until you close the tab so the page remembers it. It isn't sent to us unless you check out (see above).
2. How we use it
- To send you the free download you asked for.
- To send you the Graftwild email newsletter: notes from the homestead, practical how-tos, and occasional offers for our own products (like The Graftwild Homestead Guide).
- To deliver what you buy, give you access to it, and handle refunds or support questions.
- To understand which content and pages are useful, in aggregate.
- To follow the law, for example tax records for purchases.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.
3. Who helps us (service providers)
We use a small number of companies to run Graftwild. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job, under its own privacy policy:

Some of these companies store data in the United States and other countries.
4. Emails and how to stop them
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list. You can also reply to any email or write to stryder@graftwild.com and we'll remove you. Instagram DM automations only send messages inside the short window Instagram allows after you message us. To stop them sooner, tell us in the conversation and we'll turn them off for you.
5. How long we keep it
- Email list: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We may also remove people who haven't opened an email in a long time.
- Instagram conversations in ManyChat: until you ask us to delete them, or we stop using the tool.
- Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Anonymous visit statistics: kept in aggregate by Vercel.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for emails. Write to stryder@graftwild.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California, or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under local law, and we'll honor them. If you're in the EU or UK, we rely on your consent for the email list (you can withdraw it any time by unsubscribing) and on our need to fulfil your order for purchases.
7. Children
Graftwild isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, write to us and we'll delete it.
8. The Graftwild Instagram dashboard (internal tool)
We also run a private, single-user tool that uses the Instagram Graph API to read data from our own Instagram Business account: profile information (username, follower count, biography); our posts, reels and stories with their captions, thumbnails and metrics; post and account insights (reach, impressions, engagement); and comments and replies on our own posts (text, timestamp, like count). It's used only by the account owner to review content performance, track brand partnerships and plan content. The data is stored as files on the owner's computer, isn't shared with anyone, and isn't used for advertising, profiling, or automated decisions about people. If you've commented on our posts and want your comment data removed from this tool, write to us and we'll delete it within 30 days.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell the email list.
